“Istakamya” is a comedy film directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar. The movie is based on the 1980s novel of the same name composed by Dodderi Venkatagiri Rao. The film actors Vijay Suriya of Agni Sakshi fame, Mayuri Kyatari of Ashwini Nakshatra fame and Kavya Shetty in the lead roles.The music composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath comprises a poem written by Kuvempu, Lyrics by Yograj bhat.One of the songs in this film Jenaaguve-is picked from the poems of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu.
